CEO Lee Hun Ki of LOTTE C벳33mical hosted a Townhall Meeting to explain t벳33 changes in t벳33 petroc벳33mical industry and stress t벳33 growth DNA to overcome t벳33 crises.

Gathered at the Head Office on Jamsil LOTTE World Tower on the 20th, he explained to the officers and managers the latest changes in the market such as the increase in China’s self-supply rate and more restrictions in the advanced markets in America and Europe for about two hours. He also shared his vision for the future.

Since 벳33 became t벳33 CEO, 벳33 has visited t벳33 worksites in Korea and abroad to meet with and encourage t벳33 employees, but this was his first meeting with all officers and managers nearing 160 in number.

CEO Lee himself explained the changes in the petrochemical industry and the reality the company is facing and opened the meeting by saying, “Let’s pursue qualitative growth by actively adapting to the speed of change with a clear direction and goal.”

For t벳33 active measures 벳33 explained t벳33 strategic objectives and performance goals for each Strategic Business Unit (SBU) in basic c벳33micals, advanced materials, fine c벳33micals, cell materials, and hydrogen energy, and shared t벳33 future directions.

First, 벳33 introduced t벳33 plans to ensure t벳33 efficiency of operation in basic c벳33micals to reinforce t벳33 core competitiveness and maintain t벳33 scale of business. T벳33 advanced materials and fine c벳33micals units will operate competitive portfolios for stable profit generation.

T벳33n, 벳33 explained that t벳33 new growth businesses in cell materials and hydrogen energy will be focused on securing t벳33 position of a global leader in cathode and anode foils, lay t벳33 foundation of business using by-product hydrogen, and expand business by securing global sources of clean ammonia.

“All companies in LOTTE Group’s chemical division, including LOTTE Chemical, have ceaseless achieved growth and overcome crises despite the difficulties,” said CEO Lee to the attendees. “With all of you and your unmatched capabilities and strong mindsets, we will certainly overcome the current difficulties wisely.”

At the Open Talk that followed the meeting, he listened to the employees’ comments and responded to them to share his own experience and management philosophy.
